Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything travelers usually ask before booking a wildlife safari with us.

Most parks open their permit booking window 90–120 days in advance. Premium core zones like Ranthambore Zones 1–5, Bandhavgarh Tala and Tadoba Moharli/Kolara sell out within hours of release, so we recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends and holidays.

No ethical operator can guarantee sightings — these are wild animals in their natural habitat. However, we select the highest-probability zones and shifts, and our parks maintain 90–98% sighting indices. Multiple safaris over 2–3 days dramatically improve your chances.

Core zones are the protected heart of the reserve with the highest big-cat density and are priced higher. Buffer zones surround the core, are more affordable, allow night safaris in some parks, and still offer excellent sightings as tigers freely move between them.

Yes. Our all-inclusive tour packages bundle luxury/eco jungle lodge stays, all meals, airport or railway station transfers, and resort-to-gate pickups. You can also add resort transfers as an optional add-on in the live booking engine.

After we confirm your slot, pay securely via our Pay Now portal using UPI, Card or Net Banking on a 256-bit SSL encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant gateway. A GST tax invoice is emailed instantly.

Terms of Facilitation

Wild Path Safari is a private travel facilitation and wildlife consultancy enterprise. We are not the official government website or Forest Department portal of any national park. We act as an independent on-ground facilitator for permit acquisition, verified 4x4 Gypsy allocation, naturalist arrangement and lodge stays.

  • Permit allotment, zone and vehicle assignment are decided solely by the Forest Department's computerised roster.
  • Safari timings and park closures follow official Forest Department schedules and may change without notice.
  • Wildlife sightings are subject to natural conditions and are never guaranteed.
  • By booking, you agree to abide by all forest regulations: no plastic, no loud music, no alighting from vehicles in protected zones.
